Using Linkedin
|
I know everyone moans about how it is becoming more like facebook, but I am always impressed at the effort certain people invest in their profiles in order to appear professional.

You do know about the 'see who has viewed your profile in the last 90 days' function don't you?

...sort of depends if you want to fuck that person or say, judge their credentials as a surgeon, surely?
Good point - you wouldn't want her performing an open spine procedure on you with those bangers getting in the way.
Although I think the likelihood is low anyway.

Big business - yes. High calibre - no.

Bungo, that's big business.
To be honest, I expect what happened is that she walked into her manager's office all titted up like that photo and simply asked for a big promotion. Who would be able to refuse that?

Based on her profile, the company she works for run call centres in India, so we can probably safely assume this is not a high calibre outfit.

They started sending me, without so much as a by your leave, shit on an e-mail account I use but specifically NOT on social media.
Some cunt must have copied it in their details. As such, every time I get something via that address I remove some of my profile details from LinkedIn.
Nailed on I'll soon be regarded as not worth keeping on and my account will be deleted, which saves me the bother.

No, nobody asked me.
"She" is a connection of an ex-colleague. I was a bit surprised at the pic and had a quick look.

Re: Using Linkedin

There are thousands of fake profiles setup by companies and agencies who will try and connect with you and mine your details and contacts. Often profiles of pretty women are used to get men to accept requests to connect. Once they have have your details and email address then the spam will follow. As someone else said, used carefully it's a great tool and in the freelance world a great way of finding your next contract but the social part and open networking is open to abuse.

Even though there will be many who won't take her seriously, there are probably as many people out there who will want to at least interview her based on that photo alone!
she clearly know what she is doing by posting it and is playing the percentages which she thinks are in her favour.
